Each and every Blackhat Board is made in a small shop in Western Michigan. Built from the highest quality materials and to superior standards, your Blackhat Board will last for generations to come. For best performance, Blackhat recommends washing in warm water with mild soap, drying with a clean towel, and setting it upright for 1-2 hours to allow the board to fully dry. For stains, sprinkle coarse salt over the board, cut a lemon in half, and rub the lemon over the salt. If the board dries out or is left to soak in water, it will warp and crack. For best results, we recommend putting a coat of mineral oil or other cutting board conditioner over the board, letting it soak in for 20 minutes, and wiping off the excess oil. This should be done every month or two, depending on use. Please remember, Blackhat Boards are not dishwasher safe. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
